
Dr.Xin LI
Dr. Xin Li is a mass spectrometry analysis expert and biologist with over 15 years of experience specializing in high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and its application to food safety, biopharma, and environmental analysis.
Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at the Singapore Food Agency, Dr. Li leads initiatives in the development and implementation of HRMS workflows to support the agency’s food allergen surveillance program. His work includes the spearheading of advanced screening methods for allergenic proteins, identification of unexpected food allergens, and the application of proteomics for insect speciation and novel protein analysis. He has also played a key role in enhancing LC-MS methodologies for the detection of foodborne toxins, including ciguatoxins in local fishery products.
