Sridhar DHARMAPURI

Sridhar Dharmapuri is Senior Food Safety and Nutrition Officer at the FAO Regional Office for Asia and Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand and leads the regional Agriculture and Food Systems team. He specializes in strengthening core elements of national food safety systems and has been supporting countries in the Asia-Pacific region on food control, SPS measures and Codex food standards for over 15 years. He has a PhD in life sciences from the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, India and MBA from University of Kansas, USA
