Speaker Biography

Tatsuki Fukuie, M.D., Ph.D., is Director of the Allergy Center at the National Center for Child Health and Development in Tokyo, Japan. He is a board-certified pediatrician and allergist, and serves as a representative of the Japanese Society of Allergology and a director of both the Japanese Society of Pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the Japanese Society of Pediatric Clinical Allergy. His research focuses on birth cohort studies, clinical management of pediatric atopic dermatitis and food allergy, especially quantitative risk assessment, and evidence-based allergen regulation. He currently contributes to the FAO/WHO Expert Consultation on Risk Assessment of Food Allergens and to national expert panels on allergen policy in Japan. Dr. Fukuie has led multiple government-funded projects on Bayesian modeling, eliciting dose estimation, and exposure-based risk assessment, and has published widely in allergy and pediatric journals.
