Speaker Biography

Norimasa Tamehir, Ph.D. is a Section Chief at the National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS) in Japan. He served as an officer at the Secretariat of the Food Safety Commission of Japan (FSCJ) from 2022 to 2024. He currently also serves as an expert for FSCJ, contributing to the assessment of food safety risks to human health. His primary research interest is the investigation of immune responses to a wide range of allergens found in nature, with the long-term goal of leveraging these fundamental insights to drive innovative advancements in regulatory science.
