Speaker Biography

Eva Södergren, PhD, MSc is a nutritionist and allergy expert with extensive experience in food allergy, allergy, asthma, molecular allergy diagnostics and clinical nutrition. She currently serves as Senior Scientific Advisor for Allergy within the Medical and Scientific Affairs team at Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics division, where she supports education and implementation of advanced diagnostic approaches.

Dr. Södergren combines a strong scientific background with experience across academia, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry as well as governmental work, enabling her to translate complex immunological concepts into practical clinical insights.

She has contributed to scientific publications in food allergy and risk assessment, including work on allergen characterization and epidemiology. Her contributions spans food allergy, allergen components, and evidence-based diagnostics, with a focus on improving clinical decision-making and communication with healthcare professionals.
