Speaker Biography

Yong Wee has over 20 years of professional experience in the Food Safety market particularly in Indicator, Hygiene Monitoring, Allergen and Food Pathogen and mycotoxin market.

She is an active member of several industry associations, and has been conducting food pathogens and allergens workshops in Asia for brand protections. She has received the Certificate of Attendance from the Cornell University Food Science Dairy Training Program in 2013. She was the key speaker for the re-cent 2024 CIFSQ (China International Food Safety & Quality) Conference, focusing on Allergen management.

Yong Wee holds a Masters of Business Administration from the California State University East Bay, Hayward USA. Presently, she is the Managing Director for Romer Labs Asia Pacific.
