
Dr Ted Whitehead
Dr. Ted Whitehead is a Director of Food Safety Standards and Risk Management for Danone. He serves as Danone’s global expert for allergen standards and management as well as providing quality and food safety regional support to business units in north and south America.
Additional areas of expertise include microbiology, fermentation, and HACCP with particular focus on dairy & plant-based products and manufacturing processes. He holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from Oregon State University and has 22 years in food manufacturing which includes experience with cheeses, baking, frozen desserts, and dairy & plant-based yogurts and beverages.
