
Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc is Laboratory Manager at the National Institute for Food Control (NIFC), under the Ministry of Health in Hanoi, Vietnam. Her expertise spans food safety, toxicology, and chemical contaminant analysis. She holds a Pharmacist Degree (2012) and an MPharm in Toxicological and Drug Testing (2019) from Hanoi University of Pharmacy, where she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. Since joining NIFC in 2014, Ms. Ngoc has progressed through key roles, including Researcher in Quality Assurance, Food Research, and Research & Development, culminating in her current position as Laboratory Manager of the Food Toxicology & Allergens Lab (since 2021). Her responsibilities encompass food poisoning screening, analyzing a wide range of chemical contaminants (pesticides, vet-residues, toxins, allergens) in food, water, feed, and biological specimens, and proposing scientific projects for risk assessment of chemical contaminant-related research.
